Winters Nightfall by benkhill Winters Nightfall by benkhill
Winter tides rush toward a flaming sunset at Pfeiffer Beach, CA. I had previously been shooting the portal and became tired of the endless groups of photographers shooting the famous rays. I realized i was ignoring a beautiful sunset and hiked up north to capture it.

Definitely one of my favorite photos of yours! The contrast between warm and cold colors are what really makes this photo pop.

Woah! The water looks amazing! For some reason I especially love the dark rocks against the blue color of the water. Great capture!

You have an incredible eye and are very talented. I hope that you continue on your journey. We lost a wonderful wilderness photographer many years ago named Galen Rowell and no one has ever come close to his work. Come photograph Yosemite!! You could become famous!!
Keep up the great work Ben!
